Offer for Leaders
Leadership in an agile environment creates the framework for employees and teams to respond as independently as possible to rapidly changing customer and market needs, and to make decisions with a high degree of personal responsibility. This places new demands on both leaders and team members alike.
Agility is, on the one hand, a conscious mindset and, on the other hand, a set of practical tools that align with that mindset. In today’s increasingly dynamic and complex market environment, agile leadership has proven effective in helping organizations navigate uncertainty and unpredictability.
The key lies in finding the right degree of agile leadership. Our goal is not to implement a standardized concept, but to identify and strengthen the forms and approaches that best fit your specific needs and context.
Here, you will learn what agile leadership truly means and which challenges may arise when an organization finds itself caught between growing complexity and new demands for adaptability and innovation.
So what does this look like in practice?
When we support you in strengthening leadership within an agile environment, it goes without saying that our approach with you also follows the principles of agile work:
- Establishing a shared understanding, purpose, and intent (Purpose)
- Developing solutions together and taking joint responsibility for outcomes (Co-Creation)
- Implementing practical steps early and reflecting on them together to learn by doing (Prototyping, Iteration)
- Fostering progress through intrinsic motivation rather than external pressure (Pull instead of push – creating motivation for the next step)
In agile environments, leadership responsibilities are delegated to different roles and distributed functionally and situationally among colleagues. When designing the training program, we therefore involve the broader leadership community. That’s why we begin by exploring your specific context, leadership culture, and the leadership impact you aim to achieve. Because the more self-organization and agility are practiced, the more every employee also becomes a leader in their own right.
Structure of a leadership training
Accordingly, a “leadership training” can take many different shapes and forms. Our training is designed based on agile principles and focuses on three core dimensions: mindset, methods and tools, and the organizational framework for leadership.
Some “evergreens” frequently appear in our programs, as they form the backbone of effective leadership in agile environments:
- Understanding agile principles, methods, and frameworks
- A systemic understanding of self-organization
- Facilitation and visualization
- Effective meeting form and models for inclusive decision-making
- Conflict resolution methods (e.g., Nonviolent Communication – NVC)
- Practices for self-organization and team coordination
- Discovering and strengthening purpose, and filling it with life
- Self-leadership and personal management
- A toolbox of agile instruments and practices
Our leadership trainings emphasize hands-on practice, continuous application, and regular collective reflection. This enables participants to align their understanding of leadership roles, their individual capabilities, and the collaborative structure within teams.
Your Benefits
We support you in applying agile principles and methods in daily practice – or in anchoring them more deeply where they already exist. As experienced professionals in training and consulting, we offer both tools to strengthen individual competencies, as well as a systemic perspective on your organizational context. Only the combination of both leads to lasting success in an agile environment.
